A New Home and a New Life for Tigg

Collie Rescue League of New England has found new homes for more than 1000 collies since our founding in 1987. Nothing makes us happier than knowing we’ve successfully placed a collie in the perfect home. For some, that means lazy days on a cozy couch, for others it means romping with the kids in the backyard. One surrendered collie we placed with a forever family now competes nationally in agility events. This is his story.

“Hi, my name is Tigg, I was adopted in November of 2012. Over the last year, we have been working really hard developing as an agility team. We started our agility career at the Indiana Collie Club trial in October of 2013. I really enjoy this sport, I just get so excited when it's my turn to run. I remember when my foster mommy from CRLNE told me they were looking for a performance home. I was not sure what a performance home was, but I was up for anything to find my forever home. I'm so happy that my foster mommy knew my potential. I want to say how grateful I am to CRLNE for taking such good care of me while waiting for my forever family.”
